Services Calendar

Holy Communion

These services take place at least once a week, usually at either a 10.30am or 6.00pm Sunday service and at our 10.00am Wednesday Services. Communion is when we go up to receive bread and wine which symbolise the body and blood of Jesus Christ. This is done in remembrance of his last supper with his disciples (read Matthew 26: 17-30).

Breakfast Church starts at 10.15 with breakfast served in the lounge. These can range from cereals and fruit to bacon/egg sandwiches - there’s plenty to choose from. In church the layout is like a coffee shop, seats around tables, and we discuss themes that impact us today, for example, the economy, and what we can find in the Bible to guide us.

Breakfast Church

Morning Worship is a time to come together and celebrate our God. Based on Common Worship this is a service of the Word. Our music group provide the sung worship. The children are in their own group called Starblazers for the entire service.

Morning Worship

These services are planned by the youth and the youth leaders. The youth usually do the Bible reading, lead the congregation in prayer and provide skits or art work based on the theme of the service. This is a family service, very relaxed and trying to provide a ‘party’ atmosphere. They take place when there is a 5th Sunday in a month.

Celebration Services

Based on the meditative style of worship founded in the Taizé monastic community this service offers a time of reflection and peace that is sometimes hard to achieve in our busy lives. Incorporating prayer and chant-like singing this is a style that suits young and old alike.

Join us on the 1st Sunday evening of the month at 6.00pm.

Iona

Iona is based on the Celtic tradition from the Isle of Iona, Scotland. A popular service, often the music is provided by keyboard and violin. If you are looking for something different, join us on the 3rd Sunday evening of the month at 6.00pm.
